Pfizer has announced new results in the testing of their coronavirus vaccine candidate.

According to ABC news, the vaccine has an efficacy rate of 95% in participants. The study tested both people who have not had covid-19 before and people who have been diagnosed multiple times.

So far no serious safety concerns have been reported related to the vaccine.

The company expects to produce 50 million vaccine doses in 2020 and 1.3 billion doses next year.
