San Jose firefighter tests positive for COVID-19, 50 firefighters quarantined

SAN JOSE, Calif. — A San Jose firefighter has tested positive for COVID-19 and he may have exposed other first responders, our affiliate ABC7 reported.

According to ABC7, 50 firefighters were quarantined as a precautionary result. The firefighter who tested positive has now been hospitalized.

Officials said they don't know how the firefighter contracted coronavirus.
