California has released new guidelines for people who want to take part in social gatherings during the pandemic. Three households can get together as long as they wear masks.

The state has set the limit of three households so people won't be tempted to host large parties as we near Halloween and the holiday season.

Governor Gavin Newsom said the change recognizes the increasing pressure for get-togethers among relatives and close friends.
