Target on Ming Ave has two COVID-19 cases

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Target in Bakersfield has confirmed that their store on Ming Avenue has two employees who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Target says that they are following health department guidelines and those employees have gone into quarantine. The company is paying the employees while they are on leave.

The store has deep cleaned and sanitized the store and notified the rest of their team. They are providing masks, gloves and thermometers and upholding rigorous cleaning routines, installing partitions at check lanes in stores and employing a variety of social distancing measures.
