Once a COVID-19 vaccine is approved the Trump administration said it expects health insurers to cover the cost for people. That means no co-pays or other charges.

Currently, insurers cover vaccines recommended by the CDC under the Affordable Care Act. But the Trump Administration has been working to overturn that.

The vaccine isn't expected to be available to patients until next year.
