KCSO deputies make drug arrest during traffic stop in Kern Valley

BODFISH, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff deputies from the Kern Valley substation made two arrest and seized over a 100 grams of drugs during a traffic stop.

The incident occurred near the area of Kern River Canyon Road and Borel Road in Bodfish.

Deputies arrested 58-year-old Jerry Winham and 58-year-old Joyce Yarbrough and booked them on multiple felony charges.

During the traffic stop, deputies found 35.9 grams of individually packaged methamphetamine, 68 grams of marijuana, 40.5 grams of concentrated marijuana, 1 gram of heroin, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
