200 cars screened during DUI and driver's checkpoint

BAKERSFIELD, Cali.- A DUI and driver's license checkpoint was held in East Bakersfield Saturday night.

Over 200 vehicles were screened by Bakersfield police officers.

BPD set up shop on Bernard Street, where one person was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.

Police cited ten drivers for driving while unlicensed and one person was found to be driving on a suspended license.
