BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A 9-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after a bullet entered their home on Niles Street Monday night.

According to Bakersfield Police, a ShotSpotter activation alerted officers to the call around 10 p.m. When they arrived they were told the boy was taken to Kern Medical by private means.

The investigation in ongoing and officers said they have no suspect information at this time.
