BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in Southwest Bakersfield Friday night.

According to officials, just before 9 p.m. officers responded to reports of a stabbing near the intersection of Mcdonald Way and Norseman Street.

Upon arrival they found a man with moderate injuries from what appeared to be a stabbing.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No suspect information has been released yet.
