The Bakersfield Police Department cited a number of people for street racing and reckless driving.

Additional enforcement efforts were out on patrol in the city and made 20 related traffic enforcement stops. Those stops resulted in 16 citations, 9 vehicles impounded, and one felony DUI arrest.
