BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting in Central Bakersfield.
According to police, around 6:15 Friday evening, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of San Dimas St. just north of Highway 178 and Golden State Ave.
When officers arrived they found a woman with moderate injuries from a gunshot wound and she was transported to the hospital.
Officials said they have limited suspect details at this time.
