Bakersfield Police Department looking for a suspect in Dollar General robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery. According to the BPD, the robbery took place on September 22nd at the Dollar General store located at 1616 Niles Street.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20's. He stands about 6 feet tall with a slim build. He has black hair and thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a black Nike baseball hat, a white sweatshirt with dark spots, a long-sleeved white t-shirt and faded dark-colored shorts. He was also wearing white shoes with black shorts.

The suspect was armed with a black handgun.
