BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help finding a suspect vehicle involved in a major injury hit-and-run.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2000-2006, Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon, White, with black trim on sides.

According to BPD, just before 7 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2019, an adult man was standing outside of his parked vehicle in the 8300 block of Shannon Drive, near Golden Valley High School when he was struck by the suspect vehicle. The victim suffered major injuries as a result .
