Bakersfield Police Department searching for subject in convenience store robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a strong-arm robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 3600 block of Stockdale Highway.

According to the BPD, the suspect entered the store on October 24th and attempted to steal beer. The suspect assaulted a store clerk when he tried to stop him.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male between 20 and 30 years old. He is approximately 240 lbs with tattoos across his chest and was last seen wearing a grey hat, white tank top, and grey shorts.
