The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an auto theft.

According to the BPD, the incident happened on February 15th, at about 6 p.m. when the suspect was seen in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen on February 4th. He was seen in the 5600 Block of Sara Jane Street.

The vehicle was stolen from the 8100 block of Rockhampton Drive and has since been recovered.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 30's. He has blue/green eyes and reddish-brown facial hair.
