BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection to a shooting in Downtown Bakersfield. The shooting happened on September 14th at around 5 p.m. at the La Mirage motel on Union Ave.
According to the BPD, an argument began between the suspects and the victim. One of the suspects produced a gun and shot the victim before both suspects fled on foot.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 15 and 18-years of age. He stands 5’10" with a slim build. He has black hair and was wearing a white shirt, black shorts, black socks, black and white vans. He had a tattoo on his right wrist.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man also between 15 and 18-years-old with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, black socks, and red sandals.
