BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a missing child who is considered at risk due to her age.

Ten-year-old Vanessa Martin was last seen Thursday at about 4:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Espee Street.

Vanessa is 5' 5" tall and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black sweat pants, red shoes and a purple scarf.
