Bakersfield Police looking for suspect in sexual battery investigation

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help if finding a man suspected of sexual battery.

BPD said they are looking for a Black man, 18 to 19 years old, 6-foot tall and weighing approximately 140 lbs. He is described as having dark complexion and brown eyes. The suspect was last seen wearing glasses, a black sweatshirt and black shoes. The suspect is also described as having a tattoo of a dollar sign below his left eye and unknown words on right forehead.

The suspect, according to BPD, allegedly groped a teenage girl while she was waiting at a GET Bus terminal.

BPD said the incident happened on Dec. 3, 2019, at the terminal located on 2129 Chester Avenue.
