Bakersfield police search for suspect in Home Depot robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a robbery at the Home Depot located on Mt. Vernon Ave.

According to the BPD, the incident happened on January 29th when the suspect walked into the Home Depot, selected a power drill and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by an employee, the suspect pulled out a knife.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male between 45 and 55 years of age. He is between 5’7” and 5’9” tall and has dark-hair with gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray and black jacket, blue button-up shirt, blue work pants, and a glove on his left hand.
