Bakersfield police have arrested three men for illegally shooting guns in the area of Comanche Drive and Highway 178.
Officers reportedly heard shots in the area just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening. Officials say three men were located in a dirt field with multiple pistols, five of which were determined to be illegally manufactured.
Officers also found an AK47 assault rifle, a sub-compact AK47 type pistol, a mini 14 assault rifle, and a reported stolen shotgun, as well as ammo and high-capacity magazines at the scene.
Austin Pulido, Adan Martinez, and Adrian Godinez were each booked into Kern County Jail on weapons charges.
