BPD asking community's help finding shoplifter

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public's help identifying a man suspected of shoplifting from a Rite Aid in Central Bakersfield.

BPD said the incident happened on Sept. 17 at the Rite Aid on 1601 23rd Street.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his mid 30s, approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, light blue shorts and white athletic shoes.
