BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left one woman with moderate to major injuries Tuesday night.
According to BPD, it happened just around 9:19 p.m. in the area of 19th and O streets. When officers arrived they found the victim stab wounds and transported her to an area hospital.
The suspect is being described as a male, who was last seen running away from the scene in a Northbound direction. BPD shut down nearby roads in order to search the area.
