The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run crash from July.

BPD said on July 20, a Purple or Maroon BMW 325i fled the scene of a crash that took place in the parking lot of a business in the 3700 block of Ming Avenue.

The driver is described as a Black male, 20-25 years old, tall, about 210lbs, wearing a red t-shirt, and light jeans. The suspect vehicle had a red hood, black bumper and black rims.
