BPD looking for suspect wanted in Lowe's theft

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying a suspect wanted for theft at a store in south Bakersfield.

According to BPD, the suspect entered the Lowe's on Colony Street, on January 7, went to the power tool section of the store, selected items and left the store without paying.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 20's with black hair, standing between five feet seven inches to five feet nine inches tall with a thin build.

Police say he was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
