A man was reportedly trying to stop traffic with a gun in Southeast Bakersfield, according to Bakersfield Police.
BPD confirmed with 23ABC News that they received reports around 4 p.m. Wednesday about a man in the road with a gun. Officers responded to the area of Cottonwood Road, just south of Brook Street.
Officials confirmed they found a gun in the area.
The investigation is on-going.
