BPD searching for suspect for sexual battery, annoying a child

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — BPD is requesting the community’s assistance in locating and identifying a male suspect wanted for annoying a child and sexual battery on March 12.

At about 8 a.m. officers from the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of New Stine Road regarding a report of a sexual battery of a teenage female juvenile. When officers arrived, they located two additional teenage female juveniles who reported similar offenses.

The offenses occurred between approximately 7:45 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., in the area of Hunter Ave. and Taylor St.

Investigators believe a single suspect was responsible for all three offenses.

The suspect is a black male, dark complexion, 20-30’s, 5’10”-6’0”, athletic build, short black hair and brown eyes.
