CORCORAN, Calif. — Officials at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison, Corcoran are investigating the June 11 death of 30-year-old inmate Anthony Roberson-Anderson as a homicide

At approximately 11:02 a.m. inmate Brandon Caine was seen running from Roberson-Anderson.

When staff responded, they found Roberson-Anderson with multiple injuries and swelling to his face and head.

Caine was immediately restrained.

Following treatment of his injuries, Roberson-Anderson succumbed and was pronounced deceased on June 11 at 10:54 p.m.
