BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department confirmed that a person has been arrested and charged for a shooting at a Rosedale Inn in Central Bakersfield.

18-year-old Keon Bolden was arrested Sunday, following a shooting inside of the hotel rooms. He has plead not guilty.

There is little information about the victim of the shooting, only that they sustained moderate injuries.

Bolden attempted to flee the scene after the shooting, according to police, but was arrested along with a juvenile.

He is facing several felony charges including assault with a semi-automatic firearm and is due back in court later this month.
