BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield has been named the number one city in the nation for the most auto thefts in 2019.

CHP reminds drivers to lock their vehicles, use anti-theft devices, park in well-lit areas, and never leave anything of value in your vehicle.
