BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A homicide committed February of last year, resulting in one fatality, is still under investigation by the homicide department of KCSO.

On February 11, 2019, KCSO received reports of a shooting in the 1100-block of Grace Street in Bakersfield.

When deputies arrived, they found Brent Stickney deceased from a gunshot wound.

Homicide detectives were called out to investigate the homicide.

Detectives investigated several leads but have been unable to make any arrests at this time.

KCSO homicide detectives are still investigating the case and want the public’s assistance.
