GOLDEN HILLS, Calif. — A 55-year-old woman was found dead Wednesday afternoon in Golden Hills and the Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident as a homicide.

According to KCSO, deputies responded around 2 p.m. to the area of Quail Springs Road. When they arrived they found the woman dead from traumatic injuries.
