BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Wednesday morning, the Kern County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the victim of a shooting at a residence on Sterling Road.
When KCSO deputies go there, they located a man suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, deputies determined the identity of the suspect as 29-year-old Isaac Mize.
KCSO deputies found Mize and after an hour standoff, Mize finally complied with deputies and was taken into custody.
Mize will be booked at the Central Receiving Facility for assault with a deadly weapon.
