WASCO, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for help gathering information about a deadly shooting in Wasco from August 2019.

On the evening of August 27, 2019, KCSO deputies were called out to the area of Camellia Street in Wasco where Kern County Fire crews found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was identified as 37-year-old Miguel Lopez. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

KCSO said they are still looking for the suspect, or suspects, in this shooting. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call KCSO at (661) 861-3110.
