KCSO: suspect intentionally ran victim over

MOJAVE, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office said the suspect in a Mojave hit-and-run intentionally ran the victim over, causing major injuries.

KCSO said the victim remains in critical condition.

Officials said on Jan. 16, around 12:30 p.m. 44-year-old Angel Palacio of Lancaster hit the victim with his car on K Street and Shasta Street in Mojave. Palacia then fled the scene.

KCSO said their investigation shows Palacio ran the victim over on purpose.

Palacio was found and arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies and was booked into the Mojave Jail for attempted homicide and hit and run resulting in injury.
