LEBEC, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office received several reports of illegal drug activity in the area of North and South drives in Lebec.

According to the KCSO, on Tuesday, June 2nd, deputies executed a search warrant and located an illegal marijuana grow operation. Authorities seized over 600 plants with an estimated street value of $500,000.

Three people were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, marijuana cultivation, and conspiracy to commit a crime: 49-year-old Braxton Durst, 46-year-old Roberto Zaragoza, and 32-year-old Jose Razo.
