Kern County Sheriff deputies were on scene for a drive-by shooting near Shafter on Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to Poplar Avenue and found a man with two gunshot wounds, one to the abdomen and the other to his leg. His injuries are described as moderate.
KCSO said the victim was not cooperating with details about the incident. However, KCSO did obtain information on the suspect vehicle which is described as a black Lexus.
