The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a deceased fetus was found in a dumpster.
According to the KCSO, at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, deputies were dispatched to the area of Dalea Street and Meadow Grove Court in Oildale. Officials told 23ABC that a person rummaging through the dumpster discovered the fetus and made the call to 911.
Detectives determined that the fetus was disposed of in a dumpster several day ago in the 700 block of Meadow Grove Court.
It has not been determined at this time who put the fetus in the dumpster and the investigation is ongoing.
