BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man found near the railroad tracks in Southeast Bakersfield.
According to the KCSO, deputies responded to a report of a man down near the railroad tracks near the intersection of Padre Street and Jastro Avenue. When they arrived, they found Enrique Hernandez suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
