Kern County Sheriff's Office searching for suspects wanted for embezzlement and corporate theft of more than $4 million

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to track down a man and woman they said embezzled millions of dollars from a local company.

KCSO said after a three year investigation be the Crimes Against Persons Unit, two $4,000,000 warrants were issued in July for Jon William Schmidt and Deborah Hollis-Coburn.

Schmidt and Hollis-Coburn are accused of embezzlement and corporate theft of $4 million from a local agricultural business.

KCSO said the two are from Tracy, CA and have not been located.
