WASCO, Calif. — Two men have been arrested in connection to a shooting that took place in Wasco on Saturday. According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Griffith Avenue where they found a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical by helicopter and is currently in stable condition.
On Monday at around 6 p.m., deputies arrested 27-year-old Juan Casillas of Wasco and 35-year-old Maria Ramirez of McFarland in connection to the shooting. They face charges of attempted murder, robbery and conspiracy.
