BAKERSFIELD, Calif — A man was arrested in Bakersfield last night after police arrived to a ShotSpotter activation.

Police responded to the 1200 block of Potomac avenue after the activation.

When officers arrived they found shell casings and a loaded Glock branded gun that had been left in the backyard.

Daniel Gutierrez was arrested for negligent discharge of a fire arm, and additional fire arm and gang related charges.
