OILDALE, Calif — The Kern County Coroner has ruled the death of 33-year-old Roger Archer Jr. a homicide after he was shot multiple times on Jan. 19.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the area of Beardsley Avenue,near Plymouth Avenue, for a shooting around 3:21 a.m. When they arrived, they found Archer Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officials said the shooting unfolded inside of the Maines Trailor Park.
