UPDATE: According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, Young Van Ross has been taken into custody
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office would like Wofford Heights residents to be aware of and be on the lookout for an armed and dangerous subject.
Young Van Ross is a white 38-year-old man, about 5-feet 10-inches tall, with brown hair and a long beard. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
He is wanted in connection with an attempted murder that occurred in Wofford Heights on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
If you see Van Ross, call 911 and do not approach him.
