MCFARLAND, Calif. — The McFarland Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man wounded Saturday night.

It happened just before 7:30 p.m. on East Kern Avenue and Browning Road, according to officials.

McFarland police said a man was shot and transported to a hospital. Officers said he is stable and responsive.

The investigation is ongoing.
