McFarland police uncover 3 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop

MCFARLAND, Calif. (KERO) — On Wednesday around 4 p.m., Officer’s with the McFarland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a red Ford Explorer at the intersection of Browning Road and Elmo Highway which led officers to perform a search on the vehicle.

During the search, officers located three plastic bags containing 3 pounds of crystal Methamphetamine.

The driver identified as Alexi Miguel Duran-Ayon and the passenger identified as Jose Angel Sisneros-Carranza were both arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail on charges of possession with intent to distribute, transportation of illegal narcotic for sales, utilizing a compartment of a vehicle for transportation, and sales.
