BAKERSFIELD, CA (KERO) — One man has died following a shooting at the Mesa Marin Sports Complex in East Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department says they found the victim shot in the parking lot near Bedford Green Drive just before 10:30 pm Wednesday. He died at the scene.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early twenties. He also still has a firearm.
Witnesses say that the suspect shot another person but did not hit them. The suspect then ran away from the scene.
