One person is dead after being hit by a car on Sunday evening on South Union Avenue near Belle Terrace.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident page, officers were alerted of a vehicle vs. Pedestrian collision at 6:42 p.m.

The incident page was updated just after 8 p.m. to reflect that the victim had died.
