TOLLHOUSE, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a 23-year-old man was shot and killed in central California after a bizarre shooting that began with three friends drinking and shooting each other for fun with rubber bullets.
Fresno County Sheriff deputies who responded to a report of a shooting in the town of Tollhouse performed CPR on Bradly Smith, but he died a short time later.
Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti tells the Fresno Bee a friend identified as 30-year-old Elvis Hernandez accidentally fired a shotgun blast at him. Hernandez was arrested.
It wasn't immediately known if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.
