Police searching for suspects wanted in Bakersfield Target robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in the robbery of a Target store.

According to the BPD, the incident happened on February 2nd at the Target store on Mall View Road. The suspects filled a shopping cart with about $700 in merchandise and attempted to flee the store without paying.

When confronted by loss prevention employees, the male suspect assaulted them with pepper spray and fled.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 40’s. He stands 5’8” and weighs approximately 240 lbs. He has a goatee and was last seen wearing a grey hat, and black and white plaid shirt.

The second suspect is a Hispanic female in her 40’s. She is 5’5 and weighs about 220 lbs. She has black medium length hair and was last seen wearing a beige long-sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
