PASO ROBLES, Calif. — The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help as it continues its investigation into the active shooter situation last week that left one person dead and a deputy hospitalized.

The sheriff's office is asking for surveillance video from businesses and homeowners between June 9th and 11th.

Last week Mason Lira opened fire at the Paso Robles police department hitting a deputy. Officials say he also killed a man near railroad tracks.

Lira was eventually shot and killed by law enforcement after he was on the run covering three days.
